FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

DO YOU ACCEPT BAGS OR BOXES OF CLOTHING?
We have limited display and storage space; bags and boxes take up much of this space. In addition, this makes the donations excessively wrinkled. Few of our clients are in a position to have it professionally dry cleaned. More importantly it does not make the client look or feel professional or confidant when they try it on. Thus, we only accept clothing that is cleaned, pressed and on hangers. We do, however, accept shoes and accessories in bags or boxes


DO YOU ACCEPT ANY OTHER TYPES OF CLOTHING?
We provide our clients with the professional clothing and accessories that they need to look professional and feel confident at their interviews and on the job. However, we do have very limited storage and display space. Thus, we only accept clothes and accessories that are in season. We do not accept undergarments, casual clothing, formal wear, party clothes or cosmetics. Instead we encourage you donate these items to other organizations.


I CANNOT TRANSPORT MY DONATIONS TO YOUR OFFICE. CAN YOU PICK UP MY DONATION? DO YOU HAVE OTHER SITES?
We pick-up depending on the geographical area. Please contact us for more information.


WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE DONATIONS THAT ARE INAPPROPRIATE FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
When donations are inappropriate for our clients; (i.e. Too casual, outdated or. In disrepair, etc.,) we donate to other charitable organizations; in addition, we occasionally hold a sale to generate operating funds. Nonetheless, please submit your donations that are appropriate and in season for our clients.
 

I WOULD LIKE TO ORGANIZE A DONATION DRIVE AROUND MY OFFICE/ORGANIZATION ETC. HOW DOES ONE PROCEED?
Please contact us for more information before you begin collecting clothing. We offer collection guidelines and request that drop-offs coincide with our quarterly collection dates.
